Singles’ Day, sometimes known as the International Singles Day, is a national holiday celebrated across China on the day of the first month of the Chinese calendar, November 11. It is one of the most popular national holidays in China. Singles’ Day attracts singles from all over the world. The event is characterized by lavish celebrations and gifts to married couples. In fact, Singles’ Day in China is one of the busiest days for shopping and gift-giving all year round.

On this day, Chinese Singles enjoy a wide range of free things including eating out, shopping, and enjoying a picnic with friends. Some famous Chinese restaurants in U.S. have decided to host their own Singles’ Festival, inviting singles to come and shop at their restaurants. During this season, diners can expect to get special treatment in the presence of a friendly staff and the likes of red, white, and green drinks. At many U.S. restaurants, a Singles’ Day Celebration is organized in between working hours. Here, Singles can shop till they drop, enjoy three tracks of live music, get free acupuncture treatments, receive a host of free gifts, and have a wonderful meal under the stars with their new friends.

  • Many Chinese Restaurants organize their own sing-a-ma-jigs in which small children sing and rattle away while small adults sing and rattle away as well, all being entertained by RCA headphones.
  • At some restaurants, Singles can choose a song for the RCA Headset as they sing along. For further details, the customer can contact the management.

Music concerts featuring soloists or groups of Singles are also held regularly in China; These include jazz, gospel music, country and western music concerts, as well as classic rock, pop, reggae and other music genres. The venue is generally outdoors where the heat is moderate. The audience consists mostly of singles however, there is occasionally a small gathering of couples.

The Singles’ Day celebration in China; was first celebrated in November last year when the quota of singles was increased from the previous year. With the increase in the number of individuals, the atmosphere at the event was conducive to a more interactive atmosphere. This was evidenced in the number of Chinese participants that attended the events. It was also reported that attendance was quite high despite the low temperatures. At this year’s event, it is hoped that the ratio of single people attending to the concert would be similar to the previous year’s ratio.

For Singles in love; China has got to offer a variety of activities for them to enjoy. Apart from enjoying the music and other offerings at these celebrations, singles can participate in various dating activities. Chinese restaurants have introduced ‘microwave chicken’ and ‘roasted pork’ as delicacies that can be ordered for special occasions. The food is reasonably priced and provides a wide range of options for those looking for foods that are unique and different. For singles who want to get up to date on the latest trends and fashions, China has got to offer a lot.

In music, a single is basically a recording, usually a single song recording of at leas much fewer tracks than a double album or anLP record. Such a release is available for sale in various formats. In some instances however a single released as a single might not appear on an album as opposed to appearing on a single CD or cassette tape. Such singles are sometimes recorded in more than one session and edited later for better sounding.

An example of a SINGLE album is June Money by Gaon Park. This is one of Gaon Park’s single albums that have not been made available on any major label or promotional vehicle. Though there are many SINGLE releases from artists outside of South Korea, such as American pop artist Ashanti and rapper DumbDoo, it is still a rarity to see a SINGLE from a native Korean. There is no information as to when SINGLE albums by these artists will be available on stores in the U.S..

An example of a SINGLE album with multiple guitar solos is Hello Kitty by Kim Tae Hee. This is the first full length solo album released from this artist, who is well known from her cover versions of popular Japanese pop songs. At the time of this writing Hello Kitty is no longer available as a single album due to a dispute between her former agency over playing time. This was a minor incident, though as Hello Kitty was re-released in early 2021 with new material and new playing time. She is also currently working on a new studio album.

An example of a SINGLE album with two different instrumentals is Bada Dabang, which is the full-length version of Baad Dadang. Like Hello Kitty, this was also re-released on an American label with new material. Baad Dadang is probably better known around the world as one of the many members of the idol group the incompetents. The funny thing about this group is that it actually consists of five members (including the leader) with two women and two male members. Their full-length single album is never mentioned by name, but you can almost guarantee that you will hear at least one track on this album and possibly more.

Finally, let’s discuss the very last single album that we are going to discuss – Sang Hyuk’s solo effort, Sang Hyuk’s solo single album. The man known as Sang Hyuk is one of the most famous solo singers of all time, so any review of his solo work would almost certainly feature this mention. And indeed it does. In almost any discussion of Singles singleness, Sang Hyuk’s solo career must receive some attention.

If someone wants to remain single in this day and age, it seems that these three albums would be a great place to start. They are fresh, they are relevant, and they are musically intelligent. But beyond these things, it seems to me like these three songs really says it all: “People may remain single forever / people may remain single for everyone”. That is a powerful message. What are you doing to stay single?
